Fortune & Chan write most of the Covingtons' originals. Their first song, Fortune's paradox-ridden psychodrama "I Hate You, Baby" Is characteristically simple, but undeniably entertaining.

John Logie: April 9, 1990 Observer & Eccentric

Many members came and went through out the life of the band. The key players continue to carry on the Garage Band tradition, originally laid down by the Covingtons. Lead guitar player Johnny, moved to New York to start Jonny Chan & The New Dynast Six! Freddy & Michael  started Fortune & Maltese & The Phabulous Pallbearers shortly after the demise of the final line up of the Covingtons. Freddy's new album  is out with his most recent project Freddy & The Four-Gone Conclusions. Check out the links page for all their sites. Check out the album at Get Hip's Website.
